Congratulations!

Completing this course is an acheivement you can feel very proud of, you didn't give up, even during those times you felt challenged by all the demands of life. Acknowledge your determination.

It is time now to practice teaching a yoga, pranayama and meditation class in a safe environment.
Your instructor and students are here to support your success and we know you are learning.
Remember, every great yoga instructor was in your shoes once... maybe a bit nervous to teach their first yoga class.

This is your opportunity to allow your Soul to shine, your unique energy that you bring to your students can never be replicated. Honor YOUR Style, your personal power.

You can do this!!!

Prepare your practice and go through it a couple times with a family member, friend or just yourself. Time your practice. This way you will feel more confident during your practicum.

Tips

Honor your style, don't compare your style with others.
Speak loud enough for students to hear you.
Be aware of the room... temperature, lighting, space and placement of mats.
Be aware of the students... while demonstating look up at students occassionally.
Be bold to lead the class, verbally cueing or physically adjusting if needed, not neccesarily.
Bring music if desired, not neccessary.
Bring any props or visuals if you needed, not neccessary.
Arrive a bit early, center yourself before you start.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Know that the only way to become a competent yoga instructor is to practice... to do it!
The more you lead classes the more cofindent, competent and relaxed you become.
